- I am a fun loving person that likes to capture all of life's many moments on film. I can be childish and silly... yet have this depth within my soul that scares me at times. I am deeply spiritual (not religious) with a sick and twisted sense of humor. I have been given a new life with sobriety and try to love the best I can one day at a time. I know today that I am a daughter of God and am loved and can share that love with others. I have realized that life isn't so much about things ... it's about all the wonderful relationships in my life. I have been gifted with a beautiful baby girl and a son that has overcome many obstacles in his life so far... both are winners in my book. My greatest challenge has been to overcome the hundred forms of fear that lurks in my mind. My childhood was a place of darkness... today I don't regret the past nor do I want to shut the door on it. I am the woman I am today because of my past and I love the compassion, understanding and strength it has given to me.

Hi!! I just want to say that today is my second day of sobriety. I am going to take things day by day and reading your blogs give me hope and strength. I have been reading Alcoholics Anonymous all day and am desperate for a life of recovery. Congrats on your sobriety, I don't know you, but your words are what I need to hear. Wish me luck!
